This Privacy Policy explains how Rustam Faizullin, doing business as BurnTheBurger ("we," "us," "our"), a sole proprietorship based in California, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit burntheburger.com (the "Site") or purchase our digital product.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Email address — when you unlock the free lessons or contact us.
- First name, last name, phone number, email address — when you purchase the book at checkout.
- Payment card details — collected and processed directly by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically:
- A random client identifier stored in a cookie.
- Referral source, promo code, and landing page.
- A one-way hash of your IP address (we do not store the raw IP address).
- Browser/user-agent string and, where available, your country (derived from network-level headers).
- Which free lesson videos you open (lesson number and timestamp), so we can measure how the free lessons perform. This is logged even if you have not accepted analytics cookies, since it does not set any tracking cookie of its own — only a one-way IP hash and, if already present, your client identifier.

3. How We Use Your Information
- To process your order and deliver your personalized copy of the book.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmation, delivery of your file).
- To send promotional emails, only if you opted in at checkout or via the free-lessons form — you can unsubscribe at any time (see below).
- To measure which referral links, campaigns, and promo codes drive traffic and sales.
- To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized redistribution of our digital product.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the Site:

- Our email delivery provider — to send order confirmations and, where you've opted in, promotional emails.
5. Data Retention
We retain order and communication records for as long as reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years), and analytics/lead data until you request deletion or up to 3 years of inactivity, whichever is sooner.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal information). If you are located in the EEA/UK, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
